Tehrik-e-Jadid

{

“And everyone has a goal which dominates him; vie, then, with one another in good works. Wherever you be, Allah will bring you all together. Surely, Allah has the power to do all that He wills”.

(Holy Quran 2:149)

Purpose

It was launched at a time when a group of Muslims were making haughty claims to eliminate Ahmadiyyat. However, with the launch of this scheme, the Tabligh of Ahmadiyyat increased dramatically. Today the mosques we are building and the centres which are being established are in fact the fruits of this scheme. Giving in the way of Allah facilitates the opening of mission houses, training of missionaries, construction of mosques, publication of iIslamic literature, etc.

The Importance of Spending in the Light of the Holy Qura’n

{

“They who spend their wealth for the cause of Allah, then follow not up what they have spent with taunt or injury, for them is their reward with their Lord, and they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve”.

(Holy Quran 2:263)

{

“Never shall you attain to righteousness unless you spend out of that which you love; and whatever you spend, Allah surely knows it well”.

(Holy Quran 3:93)

The Importance of Spending in the Light of Hadith

{

Ibn Mas'ud(May Allah be pleased with him)relates that the Holy Prophet (saw) said,

“Only two persons are worth of being envied; a person upon whom Allah bestows riches and gives him the power to spend in a righteous cause; and a person upon whom Allah bestows wisdom by which he judges and which he teaches”.

(Hadith No. 547, Gardens Of The Righteous)

{

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Holy Prophet (saw) said,

“Every day that rises two angels descend, one of them saying: Allah, bestow increase upon the spender; and the other saying: Allah, ruin the miser”.

(Hadith 297, Gardens Of The Righteous)

Hadith-e-Qudsi

{

The Holy Prophet (saw) said,

“Allah, the Exalted, says: Spend son of Adam, you will also be spent upon”.

(Hadith No.552, Gardens Of The Righteous)

Hazrat Khalifa-tul-Massih II (RA) said

{

“Remember! This Tehrik-e-Jadid is from God……Blessed are those who endeavour to participate to the maximum, because in the history of Islam, their names will be remembered with respect and honour, and they will have a special place of honour with Allah”.

Spending of the funds

Any financial sacrifice, big or small, is made only for one objective and that is to gain the pleasure of Almighty God.

With the help of Chanda Tehrik-e-Jadid, in Africa, many mosques and clinics along with radio stations are being constructed. Mosques in Ireland, Valencia (Spain), Kampala (Uganda) and Ivory Coast are being constructed with partial or complete fundings provided by Headquarters (Markaz). The expenses of the Jama’at missionaries (Mubalagheen) are also covered by Markaz. Many mosques and mission houses in other parts of the world, such as India, Bangladesh, Philippines, Nepal, Guatemala, Marshall Islands, etc. are also funded by this scheme. Similarly, the education of about 4500 talented students, including 350 who are studying at a higher level (post-graduation), is also sponsored by Markaz. Projects such as providing water, electricity, radio stations are also implemented by Markaz grants. All these projects are done for the progress of Jama’at Ahmadiyya and to demonstrate to the world the true teachings of Islam by providing these services to mankind.
