This section has been created to show the amazing and continual hard work, the local new convert secretaries do all year round. Not only do the local secretaries hold regular classes with their Nau Mubai’at, but meeting up socially and strengthening the bond of friendship is an essential part of the local secretaries role.
Below are few photos taken by a Nau Mubai’a whilst taking a leisurely walk in Cornwall with her local new convert secretary. Together they walked 10k along the harbour, talking throughout, sharing stories and experiences on the recent lock down and finishing with a wonderful picnic.
To acknowledge their hard work, every year the top three high achieving local secretaries now receive an award at the National Lajna Ijtema from the National President.
In 2019 the top three achieving secretaries were:
- 1st Place: Tooting Majlis
- 2nd Place: Purley Majlis
- 3rd Place: Raynes Park
