Six teams participated in the event: Teams participating were Germany, France, Holland, Belgium and two home teams GB and UK.Proceedings commenced on Friday 10 April with a reception for the arriving teams, in which the groups were decided; Group 1 was Germany, Belgium and UK and Group 2 was France, Holland and GB.Second day of play began again at 9am Sunday morning with the match for third place being played between Holland and Belgium. It was a close match, each point fought with passion. Ultimately it was Belgium who proved to be the stronger team and won 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0position.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/th><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><p>Then time had come for the highly anticipated final, with the two sporting rivals, Germany and GB playing for the European Volleyball trophy 2015. The was atmosphere electric, amongst the crowd as the 5 set game commenced with GB wining the first set 21-12, this was followed by a thrashing from the Germans to a score of 21-2. GB recovered their lead in the third match with 21-11 and went to their ultimate victory winning the last match and the Tournament ended on the points 21-15.\u00a0 (GB won 3-1 sets) The teams were backed by their supporters with the crowd cheering, doing slogans and nazams. Alhamdolillah throughout the tournament there was an atmosphere of excitement for healthy and active competition in addition to a special bond of sisterhood among all the players and attendees.
